lucastalks

Welcome to lucastalks, my blog!

If you reading this post No 1, you may be asking: “What will I find here?” “Another blog? … Do we really need it?”

I will address these questions with another question. Why do academics write blogs? Don’t they already teach, lecture, contribute to law reviews and author books? Do we really need blogs – on top of all of this? Isn’t there any risk of communication inflation?

lucastalks will address topical issues briefly and quickly. What readers will find are ideas in germination, intuitions, initial findings, hypotheses or questions for further research, impressions, reactions to events in the international and EU law world, perhaps even anecdotes, and much more which I cannot possibly envisage now! To fully reflect this impromptu nature, I will keep my blog-posts brief – sometimes very brief.

If you have any reaction, write to me. I am always eager to start conversations.

I hope you enjoy it.
